Overview:
This position is responsible to lead the company initiative to move towards lean production environment. Act as a central resource for lean manufacturing and assists with day-to-day production support and improvements. A technical background combined with product/management skills is needed.

What skills & values you will bring:

  • Proven work experience in process engineering;

  • University degree in Engineering (ideally in mechanics: Machine Construction Technology / Robots);

  • Automotive and/or metal machining background;

  • CAD or AutoCAD skills;

  • Has basic knowledge of IT&C;

  • Good English knowledge;

The role and your mission:

  • Development of processes and integration of new machine types in an existing assembly line

  • Leading continuous improvement and electrification of assembly processes

  • Define standard work

  • Design of workstations

  • Optimize work flow and cell designs and introduce cost-effective automation for productivity

  • Lead value stream mapping exercises

  • Lead and manage continuous improvement projects

Parts production

  • Define a flow orientated shop floor layout for parts production

  • Lead people to define SMED processes

  • Implementation of Heijunka planning and processes

  • In house material supply
