Overview: 

Our client, automatic conveying and sorting solution supplier, is developing the production facility and needs the skills and expertise of a Design Engineer. You have a passion for the technical domain and prove yourself as a good team mate. At the same time, you have excellent design skills and enjoy having great projects. Your knowledge & qualifications:

  •  University degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Mechatronics or related field;

  • In depth knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD software;

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Excel;

  • Understanding of the manufacturing and product requirements;

  • Impeccable attention to detail;

  • Good English skills (speaking and writing).

Your work experience:

  • Previous experience required: minimum 2-year experience in models and drawing of products within a production environment

Your job:

  • You will be the main contact person regarding product data requirements;

  • Provide suitable technical solutions and product types for conveyor modules accordingly with the client's needs;

  • Adapting the standard products to the requested application;

  • Transfer client drawings to production drawings;

  • Manage and update the Product Data Management file system;

  • Generate BOMs in ERP system based on customer data;

  • Implementing BOM changes according to the new design and/or process;

  • Ensure the implementation of ECR/ECN (Engineering Change Request/Notification).
