The Assistant Construction Manager will be responsible in offering support to the Construction Manager in all the construction matters.

Your knowledge & qualifications:

  • Experience in working with Gantt charts

  • MS OFFICE – advanced level

  • Very organized with a systematic approach to achieving accuracy and efficiency

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to get along with diverse personalities

  • Details oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Driver license B category

  • Advanced English knowledge

Your work experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in office management activities.

  • Prior experience of being an Assistant Construction Manager is an advantage.

Your job:

  • Create and maintain a professional and organized working environment, building strong relationships with all organization’s departments/stakeholders to ensure stability and smooth operation.

  • Plan and organize the Construction Manager meetings, prepare agenda and send the minutes to all the participants. Maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing agenda and taking minutes of the meetings.

  • Completes projects by assigning proper tasks and deadlines to the colleagues/collaborators, following up on results.

  • Make sure that the deadlines are met and that employees/subcontractors follow policies and instructions communicated by the Construction Manager.

  • Meets regularly with the Construction Manager to review the progress of each assigned project and to discuss and resolve outstanding problems or issues, as needed.

  • Keep Construction Manager informed of subcontractor personnel, amount of work being accomplished, and whether the subcontractor is on schedule.

  • Analyze the construction reports received from the Construction Manager and summaries them.

  • Constantly verify that the invoices respect all the terms negotiated with the suppliers and present them to the Construction Manager for payment approval.

  • Create and maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic document.

  • Elaborates and improve constantly the working procedures and processes.

  • Create and maintain a close relationship with the clients, offering support and answering promptly to their requests in construction matters, approved by the Construction Manager.
